About the UK Theory Test

The UK driving theory test is set by the DVSA and has two parts: multiple-choice questions and a hazard-perception section. Our practice focuses on the multiple-choice portion, covering alertnes, attitude, safety, road signs, and the Highway Code. Practising the question styles builds the habits the real test checks.

What the Real Test Covers

How to Prepare

Read the official Highway Code, then drill our questions and review every explanation. The hazard-perception part needs a separate practice tool, but strong theory knowledge is the foundation of both. This site is independent study material and not affiliated with the DVSA.

Study Plan That Works

Read the Highway Code once end to end, then switch to question drills. After each wrong answer, re-read the relevant rule rather than guessing again. Most learners pass once they can explain why each correct answer is right, not just recognise it.

Common Mistakes

This site is independent and for practice only. Book the official test through the DVSA or an authorised centre.

On Test Day

Bring your provisional licence and booking confirmation. Arrive early, read each question fully, and flag any you are unsure of to return later. The multiple-choice section is timed, but most candidates finish with time to spare if they have practised.

Keep Practising

Consistency beats cramming. Ten minutes of questions a day for a week teaches more than one long night before the exam. Return to this page any time — the practice is free and your progress stays with you.

Why Practise With Us

Our questions mirror the style and topics of the official exam without copying it. That keeps practice fair and useful, and it means you learn the rule, not a single phrasing. Use it alongside the Highway Code for the best result.
